A journey by train
I once went to Badulla.I was very happy to travel by train. Went three with
My father mother and sister. We had our breakfast in the train. We carried Coffee in a flask. My mother gave us sandwiches and coffee.
We looked out from the windows. We saw many beautiful scenes and how
Farmers worked in their fields how people went here and there doing their jobs.
I thing traveling is a good way of learning about the country

The parrot
The parrot is a beautiful bird. It is green in colour.it has a red beak. Its beak is curved and seems to be very strong. The parrot can speak a few words. It is really an imitation of few words from what it hears. People sometimes keep parrots as pets. It is done even in other countries.
People keep parrot in cages. This is not good thing. We must not hinder the freedom of animals and birds. If we forget to feed them they will die. Therefore as children we must learn to let birds and animals live in their natural surrounding

My grand mother is very old. She is 70 years old. She stays with us. Her skin is wrinkled. Her hair is white. She has a few teeth her eye sight is very weak. She can’t hear well.She has a walking stick. She can’t do any thing by her self. My mother has to bath Her. Feed her and do very thing for her some times my mother pushes her in the wheelChair. She lives in a world. Of her own. Some times she has black look. I love her very Much.

My hobby is reading. I like to read story books and Geography books. I can earn about people and their ways of living from. Them I have a small library. It is made up of book which my Mother and aunty gave me as presents
I read the daily papers that come my way. We must learn to choose good reading material. We must not read dad books which fill our minds with bad ideas. We must get help from our parents and teachers when we choose books to read.
Good books can give us a lot of help whereas bad books may do us great deal harm
We must learn to choose books well and read what is useful and good
